BIG4 Lake Maraboon Holiday Village is set on the banks of Fairbairn Dam, overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Maraboon. We are located midway between Rockhampton and Longreach, under seven hours from Townsville and only a short drive to Emerald. The Sapphire Gemfields and coal-mining town of Blackwater are under an hour away.
If you love fishing, you’re going to love this holiday destination. Lake Maraboon is stocked with eight different kinds of fish including barramundi, making it a popular spot for anglers. You’ll also find a healthy population of red claw crayfish in the area.
Our park offers a range of quality accommodation from Deluxe 2 bedroom Villas, Family Cabins, Lake view cabins and a disabled cabin.
